The Field Operations Site Supervisor (Southwest Appalachia) serves as the lead onsite operator, responsible for overseeing the assembly, operation, and maintenance of wellsite sand equipment while ensuring the safe and efficient execution of frac sand delivery, inventory management, and team leadership. This role is both hands-on and supervisory, providing direct leadership to Field Operators and serving as the primary onsite representative to customers.

 

Schedule: 2 weeks on, 1 week off, 12-hour shifts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and work side by side with 2-3 Field Operators in daily wellsite operations, providing guidance, coaching, and clear direction. 
  • Act as the primary onsite company representative, building strong relationships with customers and consultants. 
  • Communicate real-time updates on sand logistics, delivery schedules, and operational issues. 
  • Maintain full control of wellsite organization, workflow, and safety compliance. 
  • Oversee the complete sand delivery process, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient operations. 
  • Verify sand levels and coordinate with Dispatch using SandDrive and Slack. 
  • Review freight tickets, BOLs, and load data for accuracy. 
  • Assemble, operate, inspect, and maintain wellsite sand equipment. 
  • Coordinate equipment mobilization and demobilization per company guidance. 
  • Conduct daily inspections, report maintenance issues, and minimize downtime. 
  • Guide drivers on/off ramps and assist with trailer offloading. 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. 
  • Minimum 2+ years of oilfield experience in frac, wireline, coil, pump down, or related service lines. 
  • Strong communication skills with ability to interact professionally with team members, customers, and consultants. 
  • Basic understanding of electric motors, generators, and mechanical troubleshooting. 
  • Proven leadership ability with experience supervising small teams. 
  • Self-starter with strong work ethic and ability to perform under pressure. 
  • Technically proficient; able to use smartphones, tablets, and various software. 
  • Maintain a valid driver's license that meets the Company’s insurance requirements.  
  • Be able to read, write, and speak English. 

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to perform tasks outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, wind, and inclement weather. 
  • Able to wear proper PPE including but not limited to steel-toed boots, hard hat/bump cap, safety glasses, and appropriate gloves when necessary. 
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. 
  • Be able to climb ladders, stairs and equipment 
  • Be able to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and/or crouch while performing a hand task.  
  • Be able to pull, push, and lift 50 pounds.
