Job Overview

We are currently seeking experienced and safety-focused Class A CDL Company Frac Sand Drivers to support operations at our Towanda, PA terminal, while also building our driver team for our upcoming Barnesville, OH terminal expansion.

Drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of frac sand and related materials to and from customer locations while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate a commercial vehicle to transport sand and related materials to and from designated locations while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Perform routine inspections of the truck and trailer, ensuring that all equipment is in proper working condition. Report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of freight tickets, bills of lading, hours of service and any incident reports. Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to company and industry safety standards, policies, and procedures. Follow guidelines for the secure transportation of materials.
  • Be prepared to respond to emergencies, including accidents and breakdowns, by following safety protocols and contacting the appropriate authorities or maintenance personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum age: 22
  • Valid Class-A CDL & Medical Card
  • Minimum of 1 year of tractor/trailer experience within the past 3 years
  • We are unable to employ any driver that is currently in, has been in, or has completed SAP
  • 3 Records - No more than 3 records of any combination of moving violations and at fault accidents in the past 3 years
  • 2 Records - No more than 2 at fault accidents in the past 3 years
  • None of the following accident types in the past 3 years: Rollover, Jack knife, rear end, U-turn, lane change/sideswipe
  • No major violation in the last 3 years including but not limited to: DUI; Negligent homicide or assault through use of a motor vehicle; Hit and run or leaving the scene of the accident; Careless or reckless driving or speed contest violations; Operating during a period of suspension or revocation; Ticket for speeding 20 or more mph over the speed limit
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, snow, wind, and other inclement weather.
  • Must be mechanically inclined and capable of using smartphones and operational software applications.
  • Ability to work rotational schedules including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a commercial vehicle.
  • Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and equipment safely.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, push, pull, and lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Driver must weigh less than 350 pounds due to the weight rating limitations of the tractor seat.
  • Must be able to wear all required PPE.

Schedule:

Local Drivers:

  • Week 1: 5 days on / 2 days off
  • Week 2: 6 days on / 1 day off
  • 12-hour shifts (day or night rotation)

Non-Local Drivers:

  • 6 days on / 1 day off weekly
  • 12-hour shifts (day or night rotation)

Hitch Schedules:

  • Drivers who are not local to Pennsylvania or unwilling to commute may discuss alternative hitch schedules based on operational needs (example: 3 weeks on / 1 week off).
