The Parts Technician (Fleet) for maintaining accurate inventory, ensuring timely parts ordering and delivery, and providing exceptional support to the company’s fleet of trucks, trailers, and wellsite equipment. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Parts Technician (Fleet) will manage all activities within the Parts Cage, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with Company policies.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and tracking of parts.
  • Update Fleetio with current information on part status, stock levels, and movements.
  • Inspect all parts for quality, condition, and accuracy before stocking or issuing.
  • Organize and label parts efficiently to maintain an orderly and accessible storage area.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, manage returns, and handle warranty claims.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and minimize downtime for operational needs.
  • Assist Service Writers, Mechanics, and other staff in identifying and locating the correct parts for maintenance and repairs
  • Provide timely and accurate support to internal customers while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year in related field
  • Forklift experience/certified
  • General computer skills
  • Strong organizational skills 
  • Flexibility and good decision-making skills 
  • Time management
  • Able to multitask efficiently and accurately
  • Required to wear proper PPE including but not limited to steel toed boots, hard hat/bump cap, safety glasses, and appropriate gloves when necessary.
  • Work requires lifting, pushing and pulling 50 lbs
  • Work requires bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing ladders
  • Able to work in hot and cold conditions within the shop; doors remain open majority of the time
  • High level of organizational skills 
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English

 Physical Requirements:

  • Perform tasks outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, wind, and inclement weather.
  • Able to wear proper PPE including but not limited to steel-toed boots, hard hat/bump cap, safety glasses, and appropriate gloves when necessary.
  • Climb ladders, stairs, and equipment; bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, pull, push, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Schedule: 2 weeks on / 1 week off rotation, 12-hour shifts

Exemption Status: Non-exempt
