The Parts Technician is responsible for all aspects of ordering, monitoring, and reporting on the Company’s parts inventory levels.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Shipping, receiving, and inventory duties:

·       Maintain inventory counts by physically viewing, moving, organizing, and counting inventory in the shop.

·       Confirm delivery tickets and stock inventory on shelves; check and balance what was ordered vs received.

·       Responsible for picking up parts from various vendors or locations as needed.

·       Inventory system and vendor communication work:

·       Accurately log and account for inventory in system.

·       Communicate with vendors to place part orders, follow up on orders, or request replacement parts.

·       Review open repair orders and issue/assign appropriate parts needed by maintenance for repairs accounting for inventory levels.

Qualifications:

·       Minimum 1 year in related field

·       Forklift experience/certified

·       General computer skills

·       Strong organizational skills 

·       Flexibility and good decision-making skills 

·       Time management

·       Able to multitask efficiently and accurately

·       Work requires lifting, pushing and pulling 50 lbs

·       Work requires bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing ladders

·       Able to work in hot and cold conditions within the shop; doors remain open majority of the time

·       High level of organizational skills 

·       Must be able to read, write, and speak English
